Lime Juice Powder

Also Known As: Dried Lime Powder, Dehydrated Lime Juice
Origin: U.S.A.
Ingredients: Maltodextrin, Lime Juice and Lime Oil
Taste and Aroma: Intense lime flavor; tart!
Uses: Can be used in glazes, drink mixes, meat marinades, pastries, cakes and fillings. One teaspoon equals approximately half a lime. 7.7% Titratable Acidity.
Substitutes: Kaffir Lime Leaf Powder and Kaffir Lime Leaves
Fun Fact: British sailors took limes on long voyages to prevent scurvy. These sailors were called limeys because of the number of limes they would eat.
